Currently seeking a Estimator for a well established construction company. Skills & Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of dirtwork, underground utilities,asphalt paving and concrete. Deep understanding of heavy equipment uses and production rates. Proficiently read and understand engineered plans/drawings. Complete accurate takeoffs and perform quantity calculations. Select,measure and track important details of project. Prepare relevant and reliable bids and corresponding proposals. Visit site(s) to examine existing field conditions necessary to complete estimate. Build and maintain long term relationships with vendors and clients. Familiarity with computer programs such as Excel,Word,Vertigraph take off software and Google Services. Ability to multi-task and manage bidding process on multiple projects simultaneously. Great time management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Critical thinker and problem solver when it comes to practical application. Positive attitude with emphasis on punctuality. Most possess and maintain valid CA Drivers License.
