Fireplace Warehouse is currently seeking the right individual to fill a new position of Warehouse Administrator in our Colorado Springs location. Reporting to the General Manager
The responsibilities include:
• Maintaining Inventory in an orderly controlled manner
o Receiving and documenting shipments from Vendors establishing and maintaining relationship with Vendors,
o Notifying Sales and Service of the receipt of material in a timely fashion.
• Updating records in accounting systems
• Process requests for items not immediately in inventory and place orders
o Develop relationship with Vendors
o Place Purchase Orders and follow up on the developing Receiving procedures
o Expediting orders and communicating availability to Sales and Service departments.
• Providing reports to management
Qualifications include:
• Previous experience in a purchasing role
• Familiar with software warehouse systems
• Construction industry experience is a plus.
The hours are normal business hours, 8 to 5, Monday through Friday. Compensation is based on experience and the company offers a full range of benefits, including holidays and vacation, insurance and a 401 (k).
