Looking for a college experienced or advanced Oboist to join our NEW local quintet for volunteer work in Northern Colorado. Start Date: August 2021 (or once all members are vaccinated) Commitment Level: 1-2Hour Rehearsals 1xWeek on the weekend (dates tbd), performances 1-3xMonth Location: Fort Collins, Northern Colorado Volunteer Locations: Senior Centers, Hospitals, etc. & TBD Current Ensemble: 1 Bassoon, 1 French Horn, 1 Clarinetist, 1 Flutist This new ensemble is created for those who declined a professional career in music performance but still would like to enjoy and share baroque, classical, and romantic music. Other members are previous music university students who have jobs in other fields but are looking to put their music skills to use. All members are also within the age group of 25-35 to give you a feel of our ensemble setting. Audition Timeline: This posting is made now so if you'd like to get your chops up to snuff before August, you have the time to do so. I will require I small recording to be submitted by July 1, 2021.
