The Philoptochos Society of St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Ft. Worth, will be hosting its 2nd Blood Drive. COVID has caused blood supplies to be extremely low, and with many organizations not having blood drives, the need is even greater. The blood drive will take place in our church Fellowship Hall. The drive will take place on Sunday, March 21, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Carter Blood Center will be doing all the donations, which will include whole blood, platelets as well as convalescent plasma for those who have had COVID and wish to donate their plasma in an effort to assist with treatment. The below sign up link can be used for donations of whole blood and platelets. If you wish to donate Convalescent Plasma, please contact me directly as you will need to be placed on a special list. There are only 6 spots open for Convalescent Plasma and 3 are currently filled.
