My 10 year old daughter has worked hard to demonstrate responsibility to own her own pet, and is ready for a hamster. We'd prefer to not purchase from a pet store, but rather adopt from someone looking to rehome.
She has done a lot of research and has collected the necessary supplies, so we're only looking for the animal, but will consider taking some additional toys, bedding, and a safe/solid wheel if offered. She's flexible to syrian, teddy bear or dwarf varieties-- what matters most is the "personality" (her words)-- she'd like one that's accustomed to being handled.
Email or text-- the sooner the better. She's waited a good while for this, and is eager!
