We need someone to re-lay carpet in a few locations in our home. In a couple cases, the underlying pad is damaged and will need to be partly replaced. In one place, the carpet that goes over the pad is intact and just needs to be laid down again. In another case, the carpet is damaged. We have extra yardage of the original carpet, and are hoping we can lay that original instead of having to buy new carpet for the entire room. Please respond with your experience on this type of work and hourly rate or fee. If you have other handyman skills, we have additional work. Thanks.
