Join the Conifer Realty Maintenance Team Today! The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for indoor and outdoor maintenance at our Keeler Park Apartments community in Rochester, NY [525 Units]. Successful candidates must be skilled in drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, basic carpentry, cleaning preferred. Grounds maintenance and snow removal required. Must have had prior team supervision experience including coaching, training. Ability to adapt to fast-paced work environment and changing work priorities required. Must be self-motivated and enjoy working independently as well as supporting a team. Strong customer service skills required to assist team, residents, vendors, contractors, visitors and community agency representatives. • Responsible to cover on-call emergencies on a rotation basis. • Bilingual Spanish speaking helpful. • Reliable transportation and valid drivers' license and auto insurance needed. • Background check and drug screen conducted. Requirements SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE (required skills): • Minimum 5+ years prior maintenance skills – routine cleaning, drywall repair, painting, light plumbing, basic electrical, and general maintenance repair skills; HVAC preferred or will train. • Prior apartment maintenance management experience preferred. • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) helpful. • Willingness to work in all types of temperatures indoors/outdoors for extended periods of time. • Excellent team management with coaching, training skills. • Math aptitude with good understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting experience. • Prior Contractor/vendor contract negotiations needed. • Must be available for on-call emergency coverage on a rotation basis when scheduled. • Minimum HS/GED required. • Able to work occasional Overtime when needed/scheduled. • Must be able to lift a maximum of 50-100 lbs. on occasion with frequent lifting carrying up to 50 lbs. • Must have automobile with valid drivers’ license and valid auto insurance for purchasing supplies when needed, assisting at others sites if assigned, and company meetings in area.
