Municipal Supply, Inc. (MSI) is seeking a full time Delivery Driver with no overnight travel. For 50 years MSI has provided quality parts and services in the water and waste water industry, with warehouses in Des Moines, IA, Hastings, NE and Gretna, NE. Job Description: This Delivery Driver position is for our Des Moines warehouse and is responsible for the accurate and timely distribution of products to various customer locations. *Drive tractor and or truck, maneuvering into position to attach trailer and handle lines to secure. *Inspect vehicle for defects both before and after trip *Inspect trailer to ensure product is secure for undamaged transport *Drive tractor-trailer or truck to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations *Skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises *Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt *Unload trailer and or truck delivering product into customer premises *Perform any other duties as necessary Qualifications: *Be at least 21 years of age *Class A Drivers License required *Not more than two moving violations in past 3 years *Must not have been convicted of a DWI/DUI within the past 5 years *Be able to read and comprehend sales orders, packing slips and bills of lading *Be able to perform mathematical calculations to verify quantities of product *Be able to use a 2-wheel dolly, and ramp
