Description

We are looking for an organized and motivated warehouse assistant to join our facility. The warehouse assistant will be working directly with owner and be responsible for ensuring inventory is processed, organized, and stored. The warehouse assistant will also package and prepare orders for shipment or delivery. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on their feet and has the ability to lift heavy objects. The warehouse assistant may also need to make deliveries, so a candidate with experience and a valid driver’s license is preferred. Warehouse Assistant Duties and Responsibilities: • Prepare and complete orders for shipment or delivery up according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship). • Package items and label correctly • Remove inventory from delivery truck, receive and process stock products (pick, unload, label, store) • Move inventory and materials across the facility • Sort, organize and store inventory • Stack and organize large bulk items • Ensure inventory and workspace is clean Warehouse Assistant Requirements and Qualifications: • Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb ladders during the course of the shift • Physically able to lift 50 pounds or more • Able to work night, weekends, and holidays • Able to work in a fast-paced environment • Pays attention to detail and monitors the quality of inventory • Highly organized and able to store items efficiently
