Get ready for a whole new drinking experience.**Must be 21 years or older to participate** South Beach Barlooza is a one of a kind cocktail experience along Washington Avenue for the avid drinker enthusiast. Barlooza offers four ways to celebrate the magic of a drink: The "I Make, You Make, We Drink" cocktail workshop, flair showcasing from several guest bartenders, the Barlooza bartender competition main event that allows bartenders from all across North America to show off their creations, and the "Official Taster" title for the main event to not only judge the winners but most importantly enjoy the drinks! Winners of the competition are based on our "Official Tasters" votes to become South Beach’s WAVEOLOGIST, then move on to compete for the grand prize and become BARLOOZA'S BARBOSSA on August 21, 2021. Due to Covid-19, official safety guidelines WILL be enforced and protections including sanitation stations and face masks will be provided to all attendants. Attendants without/refusing to wear a face mask, even when they paid for a ticket, will be asked to put on a face mask or be escorted out of the event. During the national grand championship, you can taste test from the 15 semi-finalists chosen by YOU, the public, and vote on the grand champion of the night to become BARLOOZA'S BARBOSSA and receive $5,000! Your vote will be based on how exciting and unique the bartender's presentation on making the drink (called their FLAIR) is, their hospitality to the audience, the look of their creation, and of course how delicious their cocktail is!
