A. J. Lawn Services has provided landscape services to residences in Boulder, Colorado for the past 12+ years. AJLS crews operate a fast-paced, rhythmic, physically demanding schedule 4 days/week. Experience and basic level of fitness is a plus as lifting, reaching, and much walking is required. A great attitude, work ethic, and commitment to the season is required. Hiring skilled laborers for our Landscape Installation and Maintenance crew. Jobs range from planting-bed overhauls, sod, mulch, rock and edging installation, to routine landscape maintenance like clean ups to building small retaining walls and raised beds. Experience, basic level of fitness, and leadership skills are a plus, as is a great attitude and work ethic. If you have an understanding of, and enjoy, this type of work and feel you have the capability to meet these requirements, we want to talk with you! We start around March 1st and work until around Dec. 1st. Joining a snow removal crew (November - April) is also an option over the winter months. AJLS is known for its small-team culture. You will be treated with respect and we are interested in new ideas you might bring to improve what we do. We have personality and value our relationships with each other while on the job, at company meetings, and mid-season annual BBQ. There are chances for bonuses throughout the season as well. We offer competitive compensation starting at $15-$22 per hour, depending on experience and performance. Landscape crew members are eligible for pay raises upon their first evaluation. 28-34 hours/week.
