The Towpath Volunteers Fife and Drum Corps based in Macedon, NY, is one of the area's premier marching units. With over 100 Muscians from the local 5 county area, including Rochester, the Volunteers are one of the largest fife and drum corps in the country. The group performs Nationally and Internationally and is currently looking for interested people in learning the fife or drums. No musical experience is required and free lessons are provided. New classes will be forming in the next few weeks. Suggested starting age is no younger than 8 years of age. A great way for young beginner musicians to improve musical skills used in school bands.
