Innovative Surfaces, a leading custom countertop company, is looking for dependable team-oriented candidates that take pride in their work to fill an opening in our Operations Support department. Responsibilities include: Assist in the loading/unloading of materials using 2-person manually lifting or forklift equipment, confirm correct materials and supplies are loaded on each installation truck, assist customers in loading/unloading materials on-site, make deliveries, occasional help-lift’s, back-up for material handling/inventory and/or maintenance as needed. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Forklift Experience Required • Must have and maintain a valid and current unrestricted driver's license with reasonable driving history, (such as no major infractions in the past 5 years). • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Card. (CDL not needed). • Must be able to routinely perform physical requirements of the position, including Heavy lifting (100+ lbs.), kneeling, crouching, reaching, grasping, standing, and other physical demands are required. • Dependable and reliable, and able to work flexible hours and overtime. • Ability to: read and interpret shop drawings, problem solve, navigate company software program, operate forklift, push/lift heavy materials. Shift available Early Day Shift: Start time 4am • TEMPORARY HOURS DUE TO PANDEMIC: Ten (10) hour workdays Monday through Thursday of each week. Overtime/potential Friday work as needed. • REGULAR SCHEDULE ONCE WE RESUME FRIDAY OPERATIONS: Eight (8) hour workdays Monday through Friday of each week, with overtime required as needed due to production demands.
