Innovative Surfaces is a custom countertop fabricator looking for dependable and quality-driven individuals to join our team! The Details: A Builder is responsible for the hand-building of countertops and other surfacing applications including customization of buildup strips, miter folds, glue and color matching. Materials include Granite, Quartz, Marble, Natural Stone, etc. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Read and interpret plans/prints to produce countertops within tolerances and specifications • Operate grinder, table saw, power saws, miter saw, routers, and hand tools of various sizes • Use glues and caulks to join seams and parts • Communicate and document material defects, quality issues, job completion, etc. Required Qualifications: • Cabinetry, Carpentry, or building experience required, stone product experience a plus • Must be dependable, punctual, detail-oriented, self-starter, and team player • Basic reading, writing, and math skills • Must be able to demonstrate your ability to lift tops, accurately measure, read and interpret prints/shop drawings, use angle grinder, saws, and other hand tools, etc. • Heavy lifting (100+ lbs.), kneeling, crouching, reaching, grasping, standing for long periods, and other physical demands as required. Shifts available: • 1st Shift (5-6am start, currently working 4-10's Mon-Thurs, but will return to 5-8's after pandemic) • 2nd Shift (2pm-12:30am, Mon-Thurs) PAID VACATION, PAID SICK, PAID HOLIDAYS after 90 days!
