Lauren's taking y'all to GREECE! One of the world's oldest wine cultures—and one of the least understood. Armchair travel with us! In this class, we'll cover the basics of Greece's ancient wine history, regional distinctions, and character. As usual, we'll taste two wines and explore the history, food, and future of the region. Tickets include a one-hour Zoom sesh, 1 regional recipe, and 1 movie rec to set your Saturday up for success. BONUS for this special class: Lauren's giving away her Yia-Yia's baklava recipe, friends. It's all happening. Please make sure to check your email for the zoom link one hour before class! If you sign up last-minute, we'll send another link out 5 minutes before class starts. FAQ: Where can I buy the wines for this class? Featured wines will be available for purchase at Rebel Rebel one week prior to the class date. Order the wines here. You don't need to purchase both wines to enjoy the class! If you're remote, we can suggest alternatives, or you can tune in as a teetotaler and still learn something. What's the link to join? Contact your local wine store (try for a small business, not a liquor store/supermarket) and ask them if they have the wines in stock. If not, ask if they have any suggestions for alternatives that fit the bill (bonus points if they're natural wines!).
