Trade work for vet services?

Rescued a dog from someone that was going to bring him to the pound and shortly after was laid off from my job so I cannot afford a vet bill right now while I’m looking for work. He is a tiny yorkie/chihuahua mix and appears to have very bad gingivitis. He has four rotten teeth left in his mouth which smells terrible and appears to be hurting him. We think he is 12 years old and he weighs about 2.5 lbs. If anyone can help I can do remodeling/handyman work for trade. I also know how to fix a lot of things.
