For more information and to Register NOW: Please plan to join us in cyberspace on Monday March 15th for the Eighth biennial Aging with Passion & Purpose conference. The conference is completely “on-line” as is registration. There is no cost for admission and registration is open now!* We believe that after participation in this conference, attendees will feel refreshed and empowered to continue to move forward with life in the era of COVID-19. This year’s conference will discuss the implications of COVID-19 for older adults from a biopsychosocial perspective, including disparities between cultural groups, and provide an overview of where we’ve been, the current status of the Pandemic, and an up-to-date view of what lies ahead for us globally, and especially in Nebraska. The program includes presentations from distinguished leaders of our communal response to the Pandemic, in addition expert panel discussions and two special sessions: posters session representing relevant research and a session in memoriam for persons lost to the disease. Our Featured Speakers will be: • Dr. Steven Wengel, MD, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Campus Wellbeing, UNMC & UNO • Jeffrey P. Gold, MD, PhD, Chancellor of UNMC & UNO • Adi Pour, PhD, Health Director, Douglas County Health Department 6.25 CE's are available. This event is being hosted by the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Continuing Education contact hours provided by Nebraska Methodist College Professional Development. *Continuing education contact hours will be provided to participants by the Nebraska Methodist College Professional Development. Nebraska Methodist College Professional Development is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Midwest Multistate Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
