Flash Photography - Understanding and Control
Take control of your light in this workshop as you learn about flash/strobe photography. Learn how to light your subject and take advantage of strobes to blend or eliminate the existing, ambient light. This workshop will take place in the studio with strobes and modifiers to help you see how light and shadow enhance your subject. A model will be provided to help capture examples of the different light set ups that will be taught. Bring your interchangeable lens camera with a standard hotshoe for a flash along with a standard zoom or portrait lens. There will be a lecture with handouts and then practice using the strobes with the model in the studio.
This class will be taking place in a large studio space to allow for social distancing. Properly worn face masks will be required.
