Three-Hour BBQ 101 Cooking Class with a Four-Course Meal !
This class will give students invaluable insight into the time-honored techniques used to smoke meats over a 100% hardwood fire. Techniques that are usually passed down from generation to generation. Those attending will be given a brief history of barbecue and learn the differences between smokers, the importance of choosing the appropriate woods, the flavors associated with various regional barbecue styles, and more. Pupils learn how to choose, trim, season and smoke brisket, pork shoulders, and ribs, devouring each smoked meat with sides during the lesson. Each student leaves the BYOB dinner-party atmosphere with the knowledge to better their skills for the backyard crowd or local competition!
