Green Bay Packaging Inc. is currently seeking two Summer Help/Part Time Quality Control Technicians for the Coated Products Operations, located in Green Bay, WI. The Coated Products Operations (CPO) consists of three manufacturing plants, 4 Slitting and Distribution Centers, and a majority interest partnership in Mexico. The CPO manufactures pressure sensitive label stock, utilizing a variety of face stock, adhesive and release liner combinations. The Coated Products facility in Green Bay has completed a major expansion, making this plant a state-of-the-art facility. The expansion has doubled the size of our plant, and includes a new building, coater, slitters and Automated Sequencing System. Duties include the inspection and testing of pressure sensitive roll products. Candidates pursuing an Associate or four year degree in Technology or Science are preferred. We currently employ two students, and are adding two more. We are currently on a 12-hour, rotating shift schedule that affords a student 6 consecutive days off every 3 weeks. During the summer, students would work an average of 40+ hours per week. During the school year, students would fill in for vacations and other open shifts. We anticipate around 12 to 24 hours per week, depending on the student’s school schedule and availability. Part Time Quality Control employees may be required to work some Saturdays and Sundays. The wage is $13.50/hr and $14.00/hr for students returning next year. Students must be enrolled (2021-2022) as a full time student in an accredited college program. You must be 18 years of age when you start work. Students are asked to commit to 10 weeks of work during the summer.
