A family owned tree care company, we are looking for experienced plant health care (PHC) technicians for our Broken Arrow, OK, office. The primary function of this position is to complete pesticide injection and spray applications for the PHC department. The Spray Technician is responsible for all chemical and injection services offered by the PHC department of Arbor Masters as well as miscellaneous maintenance work as assigned. Responsible for reaching departmental goals and objectives, while providing a superior customer experience. Arbor Masters offers top wages and excellent benefits that include: Health insurance Dental insurance Paid holidays Paid vacation 401k Plan with company match Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Career Advancement Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All Foliar Insecticide Sprays /Systemic Injections All soil drench and injection applications (i.e. growth regulators, systemic insecticides and fertilizers) Perform all other spray and fertilizations services as needed Travel from job site to job site, utilizing maps, street guides, and other directional resources Some weekend work Complete associated paperwork completely and legibly Work alone and independently or as a reliable team player Responsible for collection of monies due from customers at the time of service Return all paperwork and monies to Operations Manager at the end of each work day Maintain and improve a thorough knowledge of tree and shrub identification; chemical mixing, mix rates, and equipment calibration techniques; insect and disease identification; proper equipment operation; product label information and comprehension; and use of personal protective equipment Keep a weekly inventory of all injections chemicals and equipment Perform daily maintenance of injection equipment Complete a daily checklist for truck maintenance (including notification of routine maintenance) Our core purpose is to love people and pursue excellence in the tree care industry.
