Mayor Tommy recognized Acworth citizen Lewis Preston as the recipient of this year's Black History Month Proclamation. Emmanuel Glaze accompanied Mr. Preston for the presentation. Black History Month will be celebrated during February and presents a special opportunity to learn about the struggles, achievements, and contributions of generations of African-Americans.
