My father died 3 years ago come May. My mother is now wanting a companion dog. She is really wanting a GSD, Lab, or Dalmatian. She would prefer a puppy since it will need to be raised up around my children and my dog since we are in town a good bit. She said she doesn't care about papers (Akc or Ckc) the puppy will be fixed as soon as he/she gets to appropriate age. We have looked at shelter dogs but unfortunately she hasn't clicked with any and none will grow to be as big as she is wanting.
