1960’s era tunes - I am in search of guitar, bass, keys, drums, and vocals who would be interested in assembling a group to primarily focus on 1960’s era chart toppers. Basically toe-tapping-dance-hall stuff and a few slow-dance tunes and see where it goes. Also to collaborate and share some original works. Myself, I play lead and/or rhythm guitar but am totally willing to share duties with another string bender. I can also play bass and have been studying keys the last several months - definitely not the best at keys but I can learn the songs and lay down the chords and melodies. My lead vocal range is limited but can do most backup and harmonies. We can switch up duties with each other depending on who fits the tune in which vocal or instrument capacity however we like. I am 60 and married with a weekday career however age is not important to me. I would also be interested in hearing from an established group seeking someone for a similar situation.
