Learn to stencil and bleach dye your own t-shirt fashions. In this unique t-shirt fashion class, artists will learn vinyl and paper stenciling techniques and graphic design principles, to make their own wearable t-shirt art using a bleach dye technique. ArtReach will supply all of the materials necessary for each artist to create 1 piece of fashion they can wear home, including the t-shirt. We will provide t-shirts in black and purple, sizes are Youth L and Adult S (please call the studio by Friday, February 12th if you require a different size, we will do our best to accommodate) or, if you would like to bring your own t-shirt, you are welcome to, just be sure that the shirt is a dark color, so the effect of this technique is achieved. We will have idea starters and stencils for artists to use, but bring your ideas, imagination, even sketches. The possibilities are endless with this imaging technique. All supplies and instruction are included, and each artist will go home with a wearable piece of T-Shirt Fashion that they designed themselves, as well as instructions on how to create these really cool pieces at home. All participants MUST wear a mask. Artists may bring a water bottle to drink from. The fee for this workshop is $25 per artist. ALL artists will be provided with non-latex gloves and protective eye goggles as we are using a dye technique. PLEASE wear old clothes and "Dress for a Mess". This workshop is perfect for TEENS/TWEENS ages 12 - 16 years. ArtReach followa all COVID-19 guidelines as set forth by the State of Massachusetts.
