The Groundskeeper will be responsible for performing ongoing landscaping tasks, as well as routine maintenance of all landscaping equipment. Responsibilities Mow lawns, prune bushes and trees, edge the walkways and give the grounds a manicured look Take on special landscaping or planting projects as deemed necessary by the property manager Collaborate with maintenance team to make sure the grounds and the building are always properly cared for Remove trash and debris from streets, common areas, and vacant sites daily. Empty trash cans in common areas and dispose of trash as needed. Clean community common areas and workspaces including pool area, parking areas, BBQ areas, and all maintenance areas. Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs on the lawn care equipment and tools Completes required paperwork. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Knowledge of equipment and maintenance. High school diploma/GED required 2+ years’ groundskeeping experience preferred Must be a reliable worker who is able to perform routine tasks without supervision Personal characteristics Team oriented with an exceptionally strong work ethic and outstanding interpersonal skills. Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail. Poised and polished professional with excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
