Anyone can have a "studio" these days so stop searching for one on Craigslist. When you need to take your music to a new high, you need to hire a pro, not a guy/gal with a "studio". I am a pro and have the verifiable discography and gold and platinum records. The most important factor wherever you record is: the people you work with. Do you research and don't just believe what they say in their add or on their website. My engineering rates start at $45/hr*. Working in my studio in Northridge is included in that rate. Day rate: $500 for 12 hours. Producing you project requires that we have a conversation. 400 Sq.ft. recording space with 18' ceiling, 5 iso rooms (2 shown). Separate roomy control room.
