Dear VLA K-5 families,
February is Black History Month. We are so fortunate to celebrate Black History Month with a recently passed NUSD Board Resolution for Anti-Racist Education. All schools will be celebrating Black History Month in a variety of ways, but wanted to share a newsletter that was created by some Marin County Students and staff for resources for your family.

Wednesday, February 10 will be a reduced day for VLA teachers to receive prep time to support your students
Wednesday schedule 8:40-9:00 – Check In 9:00 on for the remainder of the day -async time/independent work time assigned by the teachers by grade level : TK-K 160min, 1-2 210min, 3-5 220min Student Spotlight on Ms. McGoldricks students
