As of 8 a.m. today (Feb. 4), appointments for driver's license renewals at the Wright County License Bureau are open for the period of Feb. 16-26. Appointments can be scheduled on the main page of the county website (www.co.wright.mn.us) under the "Make an Appointment" tab. Walk-ups are accepted, but not encouraged because those with appointments are given priority and the wait time can be up to an hour. Walk-ins can be taken between 8-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Given the frigid temperatures that are expected in the coming week, those with other transactions (tabs, title transfers, etc.) are encouraged to use the drop box at the north entrance to the Government Center or the east side of the building where a drive-up drop box is located in the alley next to the south parking deck to avoid the walk-up window outside the building.
