Looking to start a band somewhere in between metal and pop punk. For sound I’m looking for something like chunk no captain chunk, a day to remember, four year strong, settle your scores, tonight alive, sum 41, paramore. About me: I’m 26. Been playing for 11 years. Had some stage experience but it’s been a while and I’d like to get back into playing shows once everything opens back up. Have plenty of guitars and gear. I have a tube amp rig with pedals as well as a kemper profile rig. Have a very basic recording set up but do not have much experience with recording yet. Guitarist and bassist: Please have decent gear. No line 6 spider amps or starter guitars please. I have plenty of guitars in different tunings but I’m looking to use drop Bb as I have an evertune baritone that I got specifically for this style. Ideally I’m looking for a female fronted band as I can’t say I’ve ever heard a band like chunk no captain with female vocals but not opposed to a male vocalist as long as the voice fits. Not really looking for any screaming unless it serves the song. Can jam at my place aside from drums, but I’d assume we would practice at the drummers place with how long and annoying it is to take down, transport, and set up a drum set. All members should have their own transportation. Any night after 6 besides Monday works for me. Looking for people between 20-30 but age if your older or younger and feel you could do this project justice don’t hesitate.
