Description
There are individuals in the Phoenix area who say they have rescues needing foster homes or adopters. These are mostly pure-bred Poodles or different types of Doodles. Please note that rescue dogs are typically adopted out for a reasonable adoption fee due to vet checks, some being fixed, whatever. But if you see a "rescue" dog for a price tag of $1500 or more, they clearly aren't rescues. A reputable Breeder would never sell their litters to someone (broker) to be re-sold at an outrageously high price. A reputable breeder would have health testing on the parents of all the dogs and should make that available to you. A reputable breeder isn't in it for the money, rather to better the breed. I've inquired about some of these "rescues" and was shocked. Buying a pup from a person such as this is no different than buying from a pet store or a backyard breeder. Do your research before giving any money to anyone. I know people who have been roped in to buying these dogs and it's sickening.
