We are looking for an individual for a fulfilling job working with dogs. The job can be physically demanding as well as hairy and loud. The position has the potential to become a career in dog grooming for the right person. Please read through the description below and respond with a cover letter and resume if interested. The job includes proper dog handling, bathing and blow drying dogs, brushing and deshedding, nail trimming, customer service. Qualities and Skills Needed • Able to work as a team • Can communicate in an effective and positive way • Willing to contribute and volunteer help when needed • Able to identify problems and issues and to explore solutions • Able to handle a variety of tools and equipment • Not afraid to get dirty and sweaty • Able to lift 50 lbs • Have a desire to work with animals • Have an interest in improving the well being of animals • Able to deal with the not so pretty side of animal care on occasion, such as urine, feces, hair, etc. • Have a genuine compassion towards dogs
