I need to do a LOT of work on my 7.3 Powerstroke and need a consultant to help me figure out what needs work and how to do it myself with my tools. I'm at about 350,000 miles. You will help me identify issues with the engine, fuel system, exhaust, turbo, interior, electronics, and anything else. You will give me instructions and help me order parts. I will do the labor and you can help if you want. I will pay you for any and all time you spend helping me in any way. To start: I am hoping to install an inverter that runs off a 3rd recreational battery, and I'm hoping to repair my onboard air compressor right away. I am pretty sure the turbo and pedestal needs to be rebuilt right away. I am getting a lot of black smoke and some nasty noises coming from the turbo at high PSI, and it smells like exhaust pretty bad sometimes even in the cab. I think many of the fuel gaskets need to be replaced because I was leaking fuel for a while (I changed the filter and it mostly stopped). We also had a little fender bender and some cosmetic parts need to be replaced as well as the radiator and/or intercooler. I'd like to get it all done in one shot if you can help me plan the project I would pay you cash. I am willing to work both in person and remotely by phone or video call whenever sufficient.
