Description
Need someone with experience removing fireplace. See photos as it is not an insert, more like a fireplace shell with metal sides and front. The back is corner angled with facade stone over steel. The sides and front are steel. It does not appear to be attached to a flu, nor am I sure if it was ever used as it is in an old condo. But I need the entire shell removed with minimal damage to the firebox it sits in. We can strip some of the surrounding trim, border as needed. Front of fireplace had tile and mantle which have been removed. Respond with your experience and your plan on how to remove this. Need this done on Sunday. Job pays $400, for an experienced person this should only take 2-3 hours tops by my estimates. Job is in art museum area of Philadelphia with paid parking lot beside the building. Extra payment possible if insert is removed and taken with you. That can be discussed. Cash job.
