Caregiver to one client. 24-40 hours/week. $18.00/hr + health, vision, dental insurance (full-time) + retirement savings plan + possible overtime + bonuses + room for advancement (Alberta Arts). Curious about autism? We are a family working with a great agency to hire full and part time caregivers for a sweet man with autism. Experience is helpful but not required. Patience, an uplifting attitude and curiosity to learn are more important traits. Here is a video about Carly Fleishman, where she shares her experience with autism: Requirements: -over 18 years old -can pass a background check -have a car and car insurance -can work in the USA -common sense -able to work 6-12 hours without a smoke break (for the health and safety of the client) -able to use your cell phone to clock in and out Duties include grooming, bathing, preparing meals, housekeeping, going out in the community and other tasks that maintain safety, independence and connection with community.
