Job Description: Crew Leader: Installation and Maintenance -Position requires: o Minimum of 1 year of experience in landscape maintenance, irrigation and/or turf care o A valid driver license and good driving record o Experience managing crews of up to 4 people o Experience operating machinery: mowers, blowers, weed eaters etc... o Irrigation installation and repair experience o Basic knowledge of common ornamental plants and turfgrass o A positive attitude o Ability to report to Oceanside or the job site each morning o A clear desire to grow within the company o Ability to lift heavy loads of up to 50 lbs. or more o Driver license o Landscape Industry Certified through PLANET is a plus o Qualified Applicator Certificate (QAC) or License (QAL) is a plus o Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus -Daily Tasks Include: o Communicating with customers and identifying any concerns or needs o Route planning, scheduling and prioritization o Close communication with the Account Manager o Ensure each job is in compliance with PTLS Landscape Maintenance Quality Standards o Ensure crew members are in compliance with safety standards o Proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) o Monitors proper use of required personal protective equipment on crew o Ensuring proper use, care and inventory of company vehicles, equipment and tools o Monitoring irrigation systems on site to ensure proper working order and efficiency o Systems must be in compliance with requirements of their respective water district o Daily office work: o Minimal administrative duties -Other Tasks May Include o Estimating o Identifying problems in the landscape and working with the customer to resolve them o Tracking material quantities used on each job Hiring Company Description: - Prestigious Turf and Landscape Solutions (PTLS) is a growing landscape maintenance, installation and turf care company headquarterd in Oceanside and Del Mar, CA.
