Logout of Gorge Trail 400 from Tanner Creek to Eagle Creek. We'll continue east from the power lines where the last work party left off. Since we’ve added mitigations of risk around physical distancing, our volunteer leaders are not as able to hover about and answer hands-on questions throughout the trail party. And if an emergency does develop, we need our participants to be even more aware of our safety procedures. Don’t worry, trailkeeping is for everybody and we made it easy to get going.Click here to learn what you need to know before registering for this event.================================================Project Overview:Starting where the previous work paty left off at the power lines east of Tanner Creek, we'll continue east on Trail 400 clearing any logs on the trail until reaching the Wauna Viewpoint Trail junction. What to Expect:The day is forecast is to be dry and calm with temperatures in the low 30s to low 40s. But if our luck holds, it'll be rainy! Come prepared. What to bring: Lunch, Plenty of water, Snacks, Gloves, Hardhat, Eye Protection, Face covering, Personal sanitation kitYour own logging equipment if you have it (Handsaws, Axes, Wedges)Your hard hat, if you have oneWhat to wear: Boots (Please wear something sturdy that will protect your toes from sharp tools. No tennis shoes allowed!), Long sleeved shirts and pants, Work gloves, Rain gear as appropriate for the weatherDirections: Head east on Hwy 84, take exit 40, turn right, go 100', turn left.
