Car Electric System - Grounding

2004 Mazda 3 - hatchback 2.3L Hi folks! I have found myself at a standstill with my car. It will not turnover. I have replaced the starter, and the battery. Both brand new. And the engine still will not start. I have a manual transmission. Without the clutch pushed in, it won't even try (as it shouldnt) so when I press the clutch in, and it does start --> that tells me it isn't the clutch sensor. Cars are not my forte, thus I only have a rudimentary/basic understanding. The only thing that I can come up with is that there is a faulty ground wire somewhere. The engine, almost as if when youre battery is dead, TRIES. It wants to turnover, but just doesn't have the juice. Is literally what it sounds like. The guys up at AAP also have narrowed it down to the grounding wires somewhere (the one up by the battery to the car itself ive checked and seems fine) I would like someone who owns a multimeter to come check my wires and make sure there is correct flow throughout them and to fix said issue if/when found. Whether it be the ground wires to the solenoid from the starter or starter itself, there seems to be a short somewhere. I would do this myself however, 1) I thought I brought a multimeter when I moved out here, I did not. 2) I am not sure where all of the groups are throughout the car. ASAP would be best. $100 to whomever can find and fix and my car start right in front of them. Thank you for taking the time to read this. 314-800-8879
