WestRock General Worker FULL-TIME $15/hr 214 Conover Blvd E, Conover, NC 28613 Responsible for feeding cartons and packing cartons. Support plant initiatives and directives. Maintain housekeeping and 5S to standards set by management. Duties include: - Checking cartons and sort for defects - Checking load tickets against cartons being ran - Feeding machine, place cartons on belt maintaining proper stack height and carton direction - Ensuring stack is straight - Changing pallets and/or loads - Feeding cartons through shrink tunnel - Assisting in line clearance procedure - Flatting pack cartons - Special projects - Cleaning Schedule - Shift start: 7:00AM or 7:00PM - Shift length: 12 hours - Days: 4 days on, 4 days off (overtime likely included) Benefits - Health, dental, vision insurance - Paid time off - 401k Requirements - Must be able to lift cartons onto belt. - Able to bend an move to pack cartons into corrugated boxes. - Manufacturing experience preferred but not required. - Must be at least 18+ years old - Must pass drug screen - Must pass background check About WestRock WestRock Company manufactures and sells paper and packaging solutions for the consumer and corrugated markets in North America, South America, Europe, Australia, and Asia.
