Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Effective processing and movement of freight in a timely manner
a. Handles, transports and unloads freight in an accurate manner using a variety of material handling equipment
b. Monitor freight ensuring proper identification
c. Maintain the integrity of the freight through proper handling
d. Performs inspection of all freight during the offloading process and cross reference freight manifest
e. Ensure facility maintenance through general housekeeping practices, keeping freight secure, and maintaining the assets of the facility
Candidate Qualities Should Include:
1. The ability to work effectively with others

3. The ability to get things done without constant supervision
4. Ability to Read and comprehend simple instructions
5. Ability to meet deadlines
6. Good Attendance
Skills and Requirements:
1. Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and climb
2. Must be able to lift 50 pounds individually and team lift 100 pounds throughout a workday
3. Must be able to use a variety of dollies, pallet jacks, etc
4. Ability to manage multiple functions at one time
5. Valid Driver's License and good driving record
6. Ability to operate (included backing up) a variety of vehicles such as pickup trucks, box trucks, vans, trailers
