Hotel Maintenance Engineer for 1st and 2nd Shift. Responsible for the safety and general maintenance of the facility, while delivering exceptional customer service to our guests. Job Responsibilities: • Maintain the physical functionally and safety of the hotel including, but not limited to guest rooms, public spaces and heart-of-house areas • Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and report non-functioning machinery or equipment • Performs preventive maintenance on all equipment • Performs plumbing repairs (i.e. clogged drains, copper pipe, change washers, change handles, drain fittings, etc.) • Replace and program televisions as needed • Repair and program hotel electronic lock system • Replace light switches, receptacles, light bulbs and fixtures • Repair and patch sheetrock with touch up painting if required • Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs • Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention Preferred Experience: Previous hotel maintenance experience with abilities in Plumbing, Carpentry and Electronic Systems. Education: Required: High School/Equivalent or better Preferred: Technical or other training Licenses & Certification: Required: Valid Florida Driver's License Requirements for Qualified Candidates: Must be able to work 7:00am - 3:30pm and 3:00pm - 11:30pm Must be able to work Saturday, Sunday and Holiday Have reliable transportation to hotel Must be able to walk, stand, sit, stoop, crouch, kneel for an 8 hour shift with ability to constantly lift or move 10-20 lbs.
