American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED Event Timing: Thursday February 11, 2021 9:00 AM- 1:00 PM Contact: Carl Williams 304-668-2620 or [email protected] Course Fees: Course Information Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course. What does this course teach? • First aid basics • Medical emergencies • Injury emergencies • Environmental emergencies • Preventing illness and injury • Adult CPR and AED use • Opioid-associated life-threatening emergencies • Optional modules in Child CPR AED and Infant CPR Plan to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to start time, once class has started late arrivals will not be admitted. Use of American Heart Association materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the Association.
