Please RSVP [email protected] or 720-432-9027 Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatuallahi wa barakatuhu Dear Brothers and Sisters, What a year we’ve all had alhamdoulillah. While trying, difficult and full to challenges and tests, we remain optimistic. We are looking ahead to a year of growth and renewal. More than ever our center has a job to do in serving our community. We look forward to getting on with doing just that. Since the pandemic started, we have hosted financial support programs and food outreach to our community. We have extended many hours of knowledge sharing through weekly live video lectures and halaqas. Our daycare center and preschool has never closed. We serve families seeking a safe, nurturing environment for their kids, while they continue to work. In the Fall, we managed to open our KG- 5th grade elementary school classes as well as supporting homeschooled middle schoolers on site for a total of 60 kids. We also hosted some youth programming to help kids emerge from isolation and reconnect in a healthy setting. Looking forward, we see more programs starting back and new ones launching. We have lined up women’s fitness classes, boxing, archery, nutrition and wellness lectures, basketball camp, and more. This summer we hope to re-open both weekend school as well as summer camps. We are working with AYSO to help create a soccer pitch and launch a youth soccer program. We have also lined up youth counselors to help run boys and girls clubs for ages 5-18+. And in response to a growing need, we are formulating a program for better drug outreach and counseling for youth and families. We have lots of plans for sustained growth and development of our center to support and fulfill the needs of our diverse and expansive community. We will make it happen, and invite you to become part of the solution. Take part in supporting what we hope becomes the hub for youth and families seeking a safe, inviting, healthy and halal place to come together, enjoy, grow, learn and pray. We are a non-profit 501(c)3. Your donations are zakat-eligible and tax-deductible. We welcome your support to help assure our next building payments are made on time and the maintenance and updating of the facility and community programming continues uninterrupted.
