QUINCY, MA — Police arrested a 32-year-old Quincy man Wednesday after his girlfriend jumped from a second-story window to escape his apartment after being held against her will for a week.. Matthew McAuliffe, 32, pleaded not guilty Thursday to kidnapping, assault and battery and other charges. Witnesses told police McAuliffe dragged the victim back to his apartment after she jumped from the window, according to a Boston Herald report.
