Description

I am an experienced teacher who knows how to make the time you spend at the piano rewarding and productive. My lessons will show you how to practice efficiently and develop a capacity for active listening. There's never been a better time to develop and grow your musicianship and musical creativity. As we work together you will have the satisfaction of hearing yourself play great music. Taking piano lessons puts music into your life in a hands-on way. It is an invaluable resource for children as they develop cognitive skills, memory and coordination. And it is one of the best practices for keeping in-tune and in-spirit in adulthood and beyond. My approach to teaching piano integrates whole body movement with musicianship and piano technique. I am also a singing teacher and incorporate an awareness of the voice and how to use it as a musical resource. My students come from diverse backgrounds. Some are experienced musicians, others are beginners or have had lessons long ago. If you are considering taking piano as a beginner, finding the right teacher makes all the difference. If you are an experienced musician, my lessons will give you the tools to go further and deeper. If you are interested in trying it out I am offering a free introductory half hour lesson. You can write, text or call me if you want to set that up. Bruce Loeb Bruce Loeb is a graduate of the UC Berkeley Music Department and studied at the Royal Dutch Conservatory and The Ruben Academy in Jerusalem. He teaches at the San Francisco Community Music Center. For more information go to: http://www.bruceloeb.com
