Emergency Dog Fosters Needed During Plumbing Repairs At MCAS

MANATEE COUNTY, FL — Manatee County Animal Services' Palmetto shelter at 305 25th Street West will undergo plumbing repairs starting Wednesday and the agency needs temporary emergency help fostering dogs, MCAS said in a news release. The project, overseen by the county's property management department, will impact approximately half of the kennel capacity in the adoption center. The shelter will remain open for the duration of the repairs, which is estimated to take one week, MCAS said. The shelter needs assistance with fostering dogs during this time.
