WATERFORD, CT — According to the state Department of Public Health, a total of 2,454 Waterford residents have received their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine. There are 18,746 Waterford residents and 13 percent of them have received their first dose. Waterford has 2,093 residents over the age of 75 and 1,028 of them have received their first dose or 49 percent, according to state health officials. Since the pandemic began in March, Waterford has reported 1,274 cases and 61 deaths.
