Little Elm ISD Education Foundation invites you to join us for Boots & Bling Derby Style as we take our annual fundraising gala outdoors! The Little Elm ISD Education Foundation is hosting its annual Boots & Bling Gala at the Prestonwood Polo Club in Oak Point on Saturday, May 1. The spring fundraiser enables the LEISDEF to fund its Innovative Teaching Grants Program as well as other projects that support its mission to partner with the community to provide resources that Enrich Teaching, Inspire Learning, and Maximize Innovative Opportunities so that every student in LEISD can realize their full potential. The Boots & Bling Derby Style event will feature a live polo match, a livestream of the Kentucky Derby race, a divot stomp with champagne toast, hat promenade, raffle prizes, dinner and drinks, as well as a silent auction. The first polo match will begin at 4:00 p.m., followed by the divot stomp and hat promenade. The Kentucky Derby will be shown live at 5:00 pm, followed by dinner at 6:00 p.m. Female attendees are encouraged to wear their best derby hat and show it off. As always, dress can be as casual or as dressy as you like!
