Position Description Position Summary: The primary duty of the Field Marketer is to generate new business by initiating connections with potential homeowners by going door to door. The Field Marketer is key to implementing the company’s marketing strategy designed to drive growth, brand awareness and increased market share General Responsibilities: Educate homeowners on the benefits of our products including saving them money and helping in environmental conservation Accurately document leads and actions taken on behalf of the company Assist homeowner in scheduling in-home solar analysis or home improvement estimate Follow-up on actions taken to ensure consistent and accurate hand-off of leads from marketing to sales Distribute marketing materials to designated targeted areas Additional duties as assigned by Field Marketing Manager Position Requirements: Welcoming and professional Consistently meet minimum performance metrics Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) Display a high level of professionalism, integrity and strong work ethic Be goal oriented and self-motivated Display enthusiasm, engagement, and persistence in customer interactions Experience: 1 year of customer service experience preferred Education: High School Diploma or GED required Physical Requirements: This position operates in a primarily outdoor environment. While performing this job, the employee will be required to stand for long periods of time, greeting and speaking with potential customers and interacting with the general public. The employee will be required to operate some IT equipment and move about in public to accomplish certain tasks. The employee might be required to lift up to 30 pounds.
