ABOUT THIS JOB We are seeking a shop foreman for a full-time position. The position requires leadership skills, a strong understanding of the plumbing industry, and a clean driving record. Shop foreman experience is preferred but not required. Duties and Responsibilities • Organizes materials and tools; maintains working knowledge of materials available in shop • Orders shop stock and job orders; maintains proper inventory of common materials • Picks up and delivers materials and tools to job sites • Provides assistance to plumbers when needed • Utilizes job accounts with local plumbing suppliers • Maintains amicable relationships with plumbing suppliers and customers • Records and maintains company tool lists • Records and maintains tool sign-in/sign-out lists • Coordinates and maintains company vehicles; arranges company vehicle servicing appointments • Processes supplier material bills • Answers phone calls, documents conversations, and schedules jobs • Maintains calendar and phone logs • Utilizes company credit card when needed; maintains and turns in receipts with job names referenced • Checks email and phone calls and responds in timely manner
